As an aside. I've been a regular visitor to Portugal for decades. I take my son to the Algarve three times a year for golf tournaments at the wonderful Victoria golf course in Vilamoura. On my past two trips last year I saw two men collapse and die. One at the Marina in Vilamoura, he just toppled on the sidewalk. Must have been around 50. Dead before he hit the ground. The other in the queue for taxis outside the market at Quarterira, probably mid forties in age. This is the new normal, post vaccination.

I often wonder, how do they sleep at night? I know I sleep soundly. My family sleep soundly. And they will answer to God, if not before. Please let it be before.

Hello Lorraine, I am happy you liked the article. I also wrote this essay in english. Translated to english. In the newsletter, I first sent it in english, then in portuguese, for Brazilian audience.

Thankyou Filipe! My Portuguese is non existant. I must learn some for my move there next year.

It's heartening to see doctors fight hard for their patients and the truth yet desperately sad so few in number spoke out.
